lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the European Parliament’s resolution on the scheme for food distribution to the most deprived persons in the Union, because I am concerned about the future of this programme following the decision by the European Court of Justice which has called into question its funding mechanism. This decision involves a drastic reduction in the programme’s budget, reducing it from EUR 500 million per year on average to EUR 113 million for 2012. This is not acceptable insofar as the programme benefits at least 13 million Europeans and supports the work of the vast majority of European charities. I therefore fully support this resolution, which calls on the Commission to find a speedy solution to compensate for the lack of investment in this programme which is crucial to combating poverty in Europe."@en1
