lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this text because I believe it is along the right lines in helping to fight the economic crisis, the consequences of which we are still enduring. The financial markets have not yet stabilised and citizens and enterprises are still struggling with serious socio-economic threats. The financial, economic and social crisis of the years 2007-2009 was fundamentally challenging the current governance system of the Economic and Monetary Union and at worst, nothing less than the existence of Economic and Monetary Union, the internal market, and the social basis of the European Union appeared to be at stake. The challenge is now to continue along the path already marked out, particularly addressing public investments and suitable fiscal policies, developing a new proposal for sustainable growth and establishing coordinated mechanisms to exit the public debt crisis in the Member States, thereby preventing its repetition in future."@en1
