"Since the events that occurred at the start of this century, the security of air transport is one of the main concerns of modern democracies. As well as the traditional advocating of the freedoms of citizens, the various countries have become aware of the need to protect citizens. In this way, security has become a fundamental value of these countries. Air transport is one of the areas in which it makes itself most felt. As such, EU policy is governed by seeking a balance between areas of freedom and the need to protect the value of security. At its heart, it is seeking protection measures proportional to the possibility that harm will be caused. This report is guided by this laudable principle, and specifically affects the use of security scanners, liquids, aerosols and gels, and the transportation of goods."@en1
