It is vitally important that customers are provided with clear information about the produce that they are buying in order to ensure that they make informed choices when shopping. Shoppers have the right to know where the food they are buying comes from and what exactly is in the products, and these changes will bring clarity to the traceability of foods in the EU."@en1
