Therefore, the rapporteur proposes to clarify the consequences of a failure to notify a Member State’s position in the given time period. This provision is consistent with the exclusive competence of Member States for the recognition of travel documents since they would always have the right to notify that they do not recognise the travel document concerned."@en1
