lpv:translated text	"I believe that the draft which has been put forward, which is a compromise between the strong pressure to restrict the EU budget and the need to develop instruments to implement the strategic objectives which the EU intends to achieve by 2020, should be regarded as realistic and balanced. I should therefore like to extend my warm congratulations to Commissioner Lewandowski and his team. I believe it is particularly important to ensure that there is no reduction in funding for cohesion policy, which has been proven to promote development and have a beneficial impact on the economies of all European regions. I am glad that negotiations on the new multiannual financial framework, a document which will be a significant factor in determining Europe’s development between now and the end of this decade, will start during the Polish Presidency. I also believe that both the European funding conference and the new model for cooperation between the Polish Presidency and the European Parliament will help to develop effective solutions."@en1
