lpv:translated text	"− In the last few decades the European Union has made significant progress in the drafting and implementation of development policies. Development projects, actions and funds have been mobilised to create a reality that touches on many area of the lives of Europe’s citizens. Supporting this report at a time like the present, when we are debating the next multiannual financial framework (MFF), means decisively raising the issue, once again, of the need for a common strategy, which in financial terms will guarantee territorial, environmental and human development. I agree with the need for high-impact aid, which is the inevitable objective of inclusive growth, as also reiterated by the EU 2020 strategy, and the involvement of the private sector in the development process. In fact I believe that the latter factor is vitally important for the sustainable development of Europe’s many small and medium-sized enterprises."@en1
