lpv:spoken text	"I support this report, and would argue in favour of introducing a commitment to reduce Europe's greenhouse gas emissions by up to 30% by 2020. Europe must show its commitment to combating climate change. The best way to strengthen our hand in negotiations with other countries on the importance of fighting climate change is to have strong environmental protection measures in our own territories. This report would send a clear message that Europe is serious about combating climate change. Combating climate change is not only good for the environment, but can also lead to job creation and can have a positive effect on the EU economy. Europe’s environmental industry currently boasts a EUR 227 billion turnover and 3.4 million jobs. Europe can be a leading light in the fight against climate change. Adopting this report would help us on our way."@en1
