I voted for this Draft Amending Budget because it is in accordance with Article 15 of the Financial Regulation. I believe, however, that the EU should take the necessary measures to ensure that, in future, the value of the EU budget surplus no longer makes up credit for the contributing Member States, and instead automatically goes towards strengthening the following year’s budget, thus expanding the capacity for Community intervention on behalf of the European project and socio-economic cohesion."@en1
