The report supports the retail sector and defends the interests of almost 20 million workers throughout Europe in order to create more job opportunities by removing those bureaucratic obstacles that burden retail trade between the various countries. It seeks to remove trade barriers by simplifying the rules. In addition to giving these small, private businesses – service providers and others – more room for manoeuvre, such a measure would guarantee their survival and promise more job opportunities in future."@en1
