São Tomé will receive EUR 682 500 annually of which EUR 227 500 will be to support its sectoral fisheries policy. The agreement will allow fishing for 28 tuna seiners and 12 surface long-liners. I wish to stress that not all the fishing opportunities of the previous agreement were used and that in this new protocol the fishing opportunities for the long-liner sector are reduced."@en1
