In order to address this problem, we need to invest more in the education and training of young people so that they are equipped for future challenges on the labour market, which is becoming more and more demanding. The report also quite rightly states that the European Social Fund could contribute more towards the education of the financially weak. Especially important, as I personally have stated on several occasions, is the proposal to facilitate labour mobility within the framework of the Internal Market. European cooperation to draft a single policy is needed in this sector. For all these reasons, I supported this particular report."@en1
