lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of Mr Coelho’s report on the full application of the provisions of the Schengen acquis in Bulgaria and Romania. We should congratulate the two Member States on the work that they have done. Both States have met the criteria for the full application of the Schengen acquis. Nevertheless, this report emphasises that the region includes one of the Union’s most vulnerable external borders in terms of illegal immigration. Bulgaria will have to implement transitional measures when it enters Schengen. Both States will have to cooperate fully so as not to jeopardise a system which depends on mutual trust between the Member States. I support the rapporteur’s position."@en1
