lpv:translated text	"This year’s report is similar in structure to the 2009 common foreign and security policy (CFSP) report. A special section is dedicated to the implementation of the Treaty of Lisbon. As before, there is a demand for further dialogue with the Council on the principal objectives of the CFSP. I endorse the rapporteur’s emphasis on the need to move from a mere description of CFSP activities towards a dialogue with a strategic approach. The rapporteur also urges the Council to consider the positions of Parliament when reaching decisions. I believe further discussion of the strategic framework of the Union’s foreign policy is necessary, as well as a deeper knowledge of the scope of the CFSP and the mechanisms for its establishment, which should be made available to the various political players. The high number of amendments tabled is representative of Members’ increasing interest in these matters."@en1
