I find totally unacceptable the idea that the United Kingdom and France should indeed give over their United Nations Security Council seat in order to enable the EU to sit at the Security Council table. I do not see that either Member State would be willing to do that. Unfortunately the Lisbon Treaty encourages that, which is, as I say, one of the reasons why we so object to it."@en1
