lpv:translated text	"I endorsed this report and discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget of the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking for the financial year 2009. According to information provided by the Court of Auditors, the Joint Undertaking’s annual accounts for the financial year 2009 are reliable and the underlying transactions are legal and regular. The Joint Undertaking is in a start-up phase and had not yet fully established its internal control and financial reporting systems by the end of 2009. The introduction of these systems needs to be completed. I agree with the rapporteur’s opinion that, in view of the size of its budget and the complexity of its tasks, the Joint Undertaking should consider establishing an audit committee, reporting directly to the governing board. I also believe that the Joint Undertaking must further develop provisions on membership and cofinancing. I hope that in future the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking will accelerate the development, validation and demonstration of clean air transport technologies in the EU, so that these can be deployed at the earliest opportunity."@en1
