lpv:translated text	"This own-initiative report was drafted within the framework of the various proposals that the European Commission will announce in 2011 and 2012 on fighting violence against women. This is a particularly important topic for me, as well as for the (Women at the Centre) Association, which held a conference on the topic a few weeks ago in Paris. The report proposes a new comprehensive policy approach against gender-based violence, including, in particular, the establishment of a European charter setting out a minimum level of assistance services for victims and a Europe-wide criminal-law instrument. I voted in favour of this report."@en1
