The EU and its Member States must respond promptly in giving the humanitarian aid needed to help the Japanese population overcome the impact of the earthquake. I also believe that it is paramount that the particularly serious nuclear accident caused by this natural disaster is investigated properly so as to avoid the possibility of such incidents occurring in the future."@en1
