This body, established by the European Union in 2004 for a five-year term, now needs a further extension in order to make it relevant to present-day needs and security risks. Indeed, the increasingly heavy use of computer communication facilitates the work of many, but is often also a danger, especially for children. Precise rules are needed to protect users.
