"I voted in favour of this report since I agree with the need to extend the mandate of the European Network and Information Security Agency. This body, established by the European Union in 2004 for a five-year term, now needs a further extension in order to make it relevant to present-day needs and security risks. Indeed, the increasingly heavy use of computer communication facilitates the work of many, but is often also a danger, especially for children. Precise rules are needed to protect users. However, changes to the regulation require more time, and this is why it is necessary to extend the mandate of the Agency."@en1
