As such, following the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon, the European Parliament needs to be fully informed and consulted with regard to the work carried out by the Joint Committee, as well as all of the entities involved. Any agreement that is to be concluded will need to be adopted by Parliament, which will therefore need to be kept uptodate with all negotiations. This Agreement is therefore an important step towards opening up the market to airlines from the EU and Vietnam without any discrimination. This opening up of the market may contribute to the improvement of services provided to passengers."@en1
