lpv:translated text	"Mr President, the adoption of the harmonised European Consumer Rights Directive is certainly one way of improving the functioning of the internal market. This harmonised directive, which brings together a number of directives relating to consumer rights, will considerably simplify the legal framework, will undoubtedly help to increase consumer confidence, and of course will also encourage cross-border trade. This is a step towards reducing fragmentation. Unfortunately, the full harmonisation of consumer rights in the European Union is still not a reality today. Nevertheless, this is an important step towards better consumer protection and trade. I therefore supported the adoption of this document."@en1
