"On behalf of the four Danish Social Democrats in the European Parliament (Dan Jørgensen, Christel Schaldemose, Britta Thomsen and Ole Christensen). We voted in favour of the report on reducing health inequalities in the EU. The report contains a lot of important proposals for reducing health inequalities. However, it also proposes that undocumented migrants be entitled to and guaranteed access to health services in the Member States. We do not share this point of view. We do believe, however, that it is a human right to receive emergency treatment, irrespective of a person’s status in society."@en1
