Even within countries, groups with a different education or social level have different health prospects. A rise in the unemployment rate and the austerity measures could exacerbate the health inequalities which already exist in the EU. I voted for this resolution to call for an improvement in monitoring and preventive measures against diseases, as well as for attention to be focused on the vulnerable groups."@en1
