"More than three years after the crisis, elements for regulating the financial markets are rather thin on the ground. In this respect, a new tax would allow for new sources of finance to be released and for the most questionable financial practices to be regulated. Let us be clear: it is, at present, impossible to say that what happened three years ago will not happen again in the future. It is enough to drive one to despair. The challenge is therefore to know whether Europe has the critical mass to take specific action. I believe that it does and that the sooner it takes action on this matter, the better!"@en1
