lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I have no difficulty with the European Union investing in projects outside the European Union, particularly in aspects like combating climate change. However, as an Irish MEP, I find it ironic that we are discussing here this morning how the EU can guarantee against losses on the loans and guarantees for projects outside the European Union, while the same EU is trying to make a profit on loans to Ireland under the bailout system – a profit of almost 3%, which equates to EUR 5 billion. This is not sustainable, it is not fair and I do not think it is legal. It is also unbelievably difficult to understand how we are being charged 5.8%, when loans to other countries within the European Union were set at 3.2%. I just want to say that under the new government we will be demanding a renegotiation…"@en1
