lpv:translated text	"− This motion for a resolution on the practical aspects of the revision of EU instruments to support finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the next programming period is essential in the current situation. In fact, the limited ability of SMEs to access finance is a major impediment to their creation and growth. The current financial and economic crisis has exacerbated the problem of SMEs’ access to finance. If we consider that SMEs contribute to economic growth, social cohesion and job creation; are a major source of innovation and play a vital role in increasing employment, we can understand the importance of the proposed amendments to this legal framework, which aim to improve the functioning of the SME finance schemes. For the above reasons, I voted for this resolution."@en1
