"Madam President, Commissioner, thank you for the good news. I welcome the fact that there are more women than men in the Commission. However, here is an additional question I would like to ask you. How much time do you think the European Commission would need for the percentage of women in management positions to reach not 25%, not 42%, but 50%? How long do you think that would take? You said that you will only have achieved this by the end of your mandate.
Nevertheless, you did not answer my question very clearly. As a Commissioner, what is your view of the European Union institutions’ equal opportunities strategy? That of all of the European Union institutions? This would be a very good example to the Member States, both to people working in the public and in the private sectors."@en1
