Jensen () In the 2011 budget, considerable amounts have been allocated to the Global Fund to fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) (EUR 65 000 000 in commitment appropriations and EUR 47 608 950 in payment appropriations). Recent reports have shown significant failings within the fund; and because of corruption and bribery problems involving the fund, some Member States have halted payments to it. How will the Commission ensure that the funds allocated to the GFATM are not used for bribery and corruption? What has the Commission done to ensure that the GFATM still complies with the rules on eligibility for EU funds? Has the Commission considered halting funding to the GFATM?"@en1
