"I voted to approve this agreement as the European Parliament’s rapporteur. This agreement will waive the visa requirement for Brazil for holders of diplomatic, service and official passports and for citizens in four Member States, namely, Estonia, Latvia, Malta and Cyprus. I believe that the agreement marks a significant advance towards establishing full visa reciprocity for all EU citizens in relation to third countries. The efforts aimed at ensuring full reciprocity should continue in order to waive the visa requirement for Canada and the US for citizens from five Member States: Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus and Poland."@en1
