lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this recommendation because I think it can contribute to the entry into force, implementation and development of the Schengen in countries such as Iceland, the Kingdom of Norway, the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein. It is indeed important for these countries to participate in the External Borders Fund for the period 2007-2013, in accordance with current measures and agreements. In order to bring about an ever more united Europe that does not, however, lose sight of practicality, their participation will be regulated by supplementary rules that will also ensure the protection of the European Union’s financial interests and the power of audit of the Court of Auditors."@en1
