lpv:translated text	"I voted for this report because I think that electrical and electronic waste management needs to be made more efficient, given the current inappropriate balance in this area and the increasingly rapid growth rate of this waste. Amending this directive will help improve collection rates and the illegal export legislation, as well as ensure a fairer distribution of the responsibilities involved with managing electrical and electronic waste. Furthermore, compared with the environmental benefits, this amendment will also have a positive socio-economic impact in terms of creating new jobs in the sector for collecting, treating and recycling used electrical and electronic equipment."@en1
