".
I agreed with this document, because there are still too many human rights violations in the world. The financial and economic crisis, climate change, the introduction of new information technologies and the war on terror further exacerbate human rights issues and new forms of human rights violations emerge. The global economic and financial crisis is above all having an adverse impact on the rights of the poorest. The most vulnerable groups in developing countries are particularly likely to suffer the negative consequences of climate change. Development cooperation represents a very important part of EU external relations. It is the most important instrument reducing poverty in developing countries, and developing the economies of the poorest nations, as well as social policies, democracy, the rule of law and respect for human rights. The promotion of democracy and human rights should be the most important priority of a coherent EU foreign policy."@en1
