"We have all witnessed the plight of Coptic Christians in Egypt in the last months. Such acts of violence should be condemned in the most absolute of terms. It is not only intolerance towards Christians that should be condemned but rather any form of intolerance towards the exercise of a person’s religious freedom. I believe that this resolution was well balanced and I have thus voted in favour of the resolution."@en1
