lpv:translated text	"Mr President, the submitted report confirms the fact that we still have a long way to go in the EU as far as proper competition is concerned. A good example of this is agricultural output, where both the EU and the individual states allow various subsidies and supports, thereby greatly distorting the competitive environment. Agricultural enterprises from the new Member States in particular are suffering considerably as a result of the incorrect subsidy policy of the EU. Transport is another area where it will be necessary to amend and improve the competitive environment in a fundamental way. I therefore consider it very important to adopt the proposals of the Committee on Transport and Tourism, which aptly draw attention to a distortion in competition between individual types of transport as well. In any case, this is a good and inspiring report, and it is important for it to be employed effectively to improve the competition environment in the EU."@en1
