lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of the joint resolution on the situation in Haiti a year after the earthquake: humanitarian aid and reconstruction. The resolution emphasises issues such as protection of human rights and dignity. It reminds us that, at present in Haiti, apart from the conditions of poverty and the feeling of insecurity that prevail among the citizens (60% of the population are living outside and 80% are living in absolute poverty), there is acute concern about the situation of the most vulnerable persons, who face violence, sexual abuse, human trafficking, exploitation and abandonment. In this resolution, the European Parliament calls on the Commission to go one step beyond simply establishing these cases and to make a practical contribution to the process of establishing a system of social protection in Haiti."@en1
