The Western Balkans and Serbia are more than just a region of strategic interest to the European Union, and not only do the citizens in this region need us, but we all need them. The EU is Serbia’s main trading partner, which speaks volumes. Serbia is in a unique position in Europe as it is the country with the most refugees and displaced persons. I firmly believe that accelerating Serbia’s integration process is beneficial to the whole Western Balkans region."@en1
