lpv:spoken text	"I voted for this report on the basis that it has now been clarified that British patients can receive abroad only the state-paid healthcare that they would be entitled to receive under the NHS. I welcome the fact that amendments seeking to extend entitlements by giving access to ‘all methods of treatment that are sufficiently tested by international medical science’ or ‘equally effective healthcare’ were defeated. The burden on the NHS of uncontrolled use of cross-border healthcare could have been enormous."@en1
