lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this proposal for a regulation as it lays down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and is intended to update, simplify and replace the Construction Products Directive in the light of changed circumstances, especially as regards market surveillance, including the new legislative framework. Given the size of the construction sector, it is imperative that measures be taken regarding the marketing of construction products in the EU. I support recognition of the need for high standards of health and safety for workers in this sector. This proposal will remove barriers to trading for manufacturers and also help companies to remain in business and contribute to workers keeping their jobs."@en1
