lpv:translated text	"Madam President, tens of thousands of Bulgarians live in the east of Serbia, in the areas around Bosilegrad and Caribrod. They are an ethnic minority which remained in Serbia after the end of the First World War. It would not be too far from the truth to say that they are among the poorest people in Europe. Not only has the Serbian Government failed to do anything about this – such as investments, to get the economy of the region going a little, but in November last year, with no explanation and in violation of its international undertakings, it stopped a group of Bulgarian citizens bringing aid to the children of the region who were coming to learn in Bulgaria. I would remind the representatives of the Serbian Government that free movement of people and open borders are a fundamental value of the European Union. And until you learn about it and apply it, there is no place for you here."@en1
