"Mr President, as a Member of the European Parliament, I feel responsible that we have a budget. As a Socialist, I am very sorry that we would not go for a financial transaction tax. As a rapporteur for the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, I would like to underline that we support the ITER project, but we do not need a patchwork solution for one year: we need a sustainable financial solution for the next two decades. As a Hungarian, I am very happy that the Hungarian Presidency will hopefully not have to deal with the budget, but only to find a solution for ITER and for flexibility during the negotiations."@en1
