Legal certainty should be considered whenever a piece of legislation is reviewed. In accordance with the resolution, I believe that it is crucial that once the final new regulatory framework has been adopted, a summary note and new Frequently Asked Questions should explain this framework in detail to all market players. I share Parliament’s concern that this should be regarded as an integrated regulatory framework on the protection of intellectual property rights.
