lpv:translated text	"I endorsed the report on precarious women workers. The economic crisis has contributed to destabilisation of the labour market. Employers have reduced employment or have employed temporary workers, offering them inferior financial terms. The waves of redundancies, too, have meant that many people have found themselves outside the labour market. The situation is particularly difficult for graduates, older people and women. The crisis has exacerbated the gender inequalities that already exist in employment. This has been particularly felt by women, who comprise the greatest percentage of workers engaged in what is known as precarious employment. The earnings gap has become wider, and inequalities in social protection have become greater. This situation has also hindered the professional development of women and has contributed to the consolidation of gender stereotypes in relation to work. Therefore, women working in what is known as precarious employment deserve special protection. Amongst other things, they should be covered by social insurance systems and legislation on job protection. Also important is financial protection for women in the event of unemployment or maternity. Women working in precarious employment should also have the option of unionised protection. Furthermore, women working exclusively in private households should be guaranteed free access to advisory services in the area of social rights. I would also like to draw attention to the necessity of regulating the legal situation of seasonal workers, who, in relation to the nature of their work, are more at risk from a variety of irregularities."@en1
