lpv:translated text	"Through the resolution on health care systems in sub-Saharan Africa and global health, the European Parliament has ‘pointed out that women have the right to exercise full control over matters relating to their reproductive health, as regards procreation, contraception, abortion or sexually transmitted diseases’. However, I regret the fact that this measure was adopted by a slim majority – 313 to 229. This is about a fundamental right for which thousands of women have fought and still fight in Europe and throughout the world, often putting their lives at risk. Although I strongly deplore the position taken by a minority of my colleagues, I am very pleased by today’s vote."@en1
