lpv:translated text	"I voted in favour of this own-initiative report because the European Union must do everything it can to halt the loss of biodiversity between now and 2020 and to restore ecosystems. I strongly regret the fact that the objective of halting biodiversity loss by 2010 has not been achieved. The European Commission must ensure that biodiversity is better integrated into the Union’s other fields of activity, particularly agriculture, forestry, fisheries, regional and cohesion policy, industry, development cooperation and research and innovation. Public expenditure will not, in itself, allow us to achieve the Union’s principal objective, which is why corporate responsibility must also integrate this aspect of biodiversity."@en1
