". The Commission is proposing 20 additional permanent administrator (AD) posts for the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), because the office now has the opportunity to bring the process of adapting its establishment plan to an end by recruiting the corresponding number of laureates as permanent officials. In recent years, the European Parliament has repeatedly and, most recently, on 5 May 2010, expressed the view that OLAF should gradually move in the direction of comprehensive and unlimited institutional independence, in order to ensure that its activities cannot be deliberately or unintentionally restricted by the fact that its staff and management form part of the structure of the European Commission."@en1
