"Mr President, I do not normally intervene and least of all in debate with a British National Party MEP, but to actually accuse Member States of locking people up for their political views and opinions! I can be critical of the European Union, but I do not know of any European Member State which locks anybody up for their political views, otherwise why would people like him be allowed into this Chamber, for goodness’ sake?
