lpv:translated text	"− I voted for the resolution because I agree with its calls on the European Commission to make the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) more efficient, including, amongst other things, an analysis of the contributions granted that takes into account the EGF’s impact on its beneficiaries’ network, and on the small and medium-sized enterprises potentially affected by redundancy plans whose employees could profit from it. I also agree with the Commission’s proposals aimed at reducing by half the time required for mobilisation of the EGF, specifically that the Commission should have the necessary human and technical capacities, while still respecting the principles of budgetary neutrality, to effectively and swiftly process the applications submitted by Member States."@en1
