lpv:translated text	"This new proposal contains a codification of Regulation (EEC) No 1612/68 of the Council on freedom of movement for workers within the Community. This proposal preserves the content of the codified acts and strives for clarification to apply legal standards on freedom of movement for workers. The European Union must achieve a long-term objective and ensure freedom of movement for workers in all Member States. All workers must be given the right to move freely and gain employment in the Member States. The European Union must ensure that the mobility of the labour force is more transparent, must help workers improve their living conditions and gain a proper foothold in society, and therefore, discrimination on grounds of nationality and conditions of employment must be abolished without exception. There must be better cooperation among the Member States over the implementation of more flexible conditions of employment."@en1
