"In our reports, we often speak about the difficult position of women in the European Union, and we are trying to better their situation and provide them with equality of opportunity. How much more difficult is it for women from ethnic minorities who are also a part of our society? This is why we should also help them to enter the employment market, and to have access to education and training. We should protect them from social exclusion and multi-faceted discrimination, by trying to engage them in various types of political and social activity. Only in this way will we avoid stereotyping, stigma, ethnic segregation and also, quite simply, violence and aggression. We should create chances and possibilities for these people so that differences in culture and tradition do not form a barrier to common functioning but instead provide added value. Events of the past few days have shown that some people, instead of facing up to the difficulties that may arise from a multicultural society, are trying to get rid of them, causing yet greater indignation and social disapproval."@en1
