lpv:translated text	"Mr President, Commissioner, ladies and gentlemen, I would also like to add my voice to those congratulating the rapporteur and to those of Members supporting the positions taken in the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, which adopted this report by a large majority. I would also just like to call on the Commissioner to take inspiration from the good practices of some Member States, and would refer him to the very specific example of my country, Portugal, which last week adopted important and bold measures in this area, setting a 30 day deadline for paying farmers for perishable goods and one of 60 days for food products for human consumption. I believe that imposing this on the supermarkets constitutes a good example that could be copied at European level and I call on the Commission to take its inspiration from this Member State’s good practices."@en1
